Eyja 1 month

I used to take pictures
of my kids in one of our chairs
to see how they changed.
The first year I took a picture once a month,
and after that every six months and later once a year.

Now Charlene and I
want to do the same with Eyja.

Eyja had some problems sitting up
and she kept falling asleep during the photo session.

It was freezing

Frost is here
last night the temperature was below freezing,
but we still had a nice Saturday
at Klampenborg Racetrack.

Water had frozen to ice on the plastic chairs
and we admired this very thin and fragile piece of ice.

After drying off the table and chairs
we could have our picnic.
This is my Mom studying the race card,
while my Brother is studying the horses

that are flying past on the heavy surface.

Again, it wasn't the most perfect fall day.
The colors of the trees were a bit dark,

but I could see some red colors over on the other side
in Dyrehavsbakken.

These are the beautiful old stands.

Daily picture of Eyja

Birthday for a 7 year old friend

Eyja slept almost the whole time

but here she is smiling.

All of Elias' presents were Star Wars stuff.

The perfect Fall day

Today it was here,

the perfect fall day that we loook for every year.
This year, just like a similar day 22 years ago,
I brought a baby to the beautiful Bokskogen
just outside of Malmö.

Eyja's first day in the forest.

Beautiful, beutiful forest,

with tall beech trees.

surrounded by open fields

and ponds.

Atli is carrying the baby in a baby wrap
and looks like he is pregnant.

Picnic time

 Thanks for lunch Mom!

I'm sorry for repeating myself

but I just have to show you this picture
that I didn't take myself,

but isn't it just wonderfully funny.

Family photos

During the baby girls first visit
at her Greatgrandparents apartment
we took a lot of family photos.

Sunday afternoon in the park

The parks in Malmö are nice in the fall
and we made the first walk in the park with the baby carriage.

The first thing needed
when my granddaughter came to visit
was a diaper change.

Since my cold is gone
I could hold my granddaughter for the first time.

Ready for a walk in the park.

The baby was fast asleep
while her parents played in the park.

While I made a really good fish stew
the others rested from the walk.

This is her tiny hand.

The Girl and the Cat

My granddaughter is home

and my cold is better today
so I could go visit.
I kept my distance,
but caught her with my camera.

Full and content on her Daddy's chest.

The kitten suddenly looks like a big cat.

I helped folding the laundry
and this tiny sock
belongs to this soft little foot.
